After receiving his medical degree Cum Laude from the Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Fogelman completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital of the Harvard Medical School. He was then a resident in Dermatology at the NYU School of Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dedicated to furthering his training and knowledge, Dr. Fogelman undertook a fellowship in laser and cosmetic dermatology in New York. Actively involved in the field of dermatology, Dr. Fogelman is associated with several professional organizations, including:
- American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Fellow
- American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Fellow
- American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow
Within these and other organizations, Dr. Fogelman is also a member of various committees, having served on the Board of Advisors for the American Cancer Society in Rockland County and as a physician on the American Academy of Dermatology’s Play Sun Smart™ skin cancer screening events with the New York Yankees and the New York Mets. He also serves as a Police Surgeon with the Rockland County Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.
Dr. Fogelman is well-published in journals and textbooks, and has presented papers at annual meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the World Congress of Dermatology. He has received numerous awards and commendations, including the Research Award for the Best Resident Research Paper in Dermatology/Plastic Surgery by the American Society for Laser Medicine, and the Morris Leider Award at graduation from the NYU School of Medicine Department of Dermatology. He was elected to membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society at the University of Pennsylvania and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society at Yale University.
Dr. Fogelman has been named a “Top Doctor” by Hudson Valley Magazine and a “Top Doctor New York Metro Area” by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.
